令和5年（2023年）の始動から早3年。
本年度も芸術文化祭を開催します。
舞台は、日本海に浮かぶ隠岐諸島・海士町（中ノ島）。
800年前よりこの地で紡がれてきた文化と感性が、
呼吸するように躍動する1週間。
全体テーマは
「波を感じて、波を生む」。
第3回となる今回は、
オリジナルテーマ「しまのいろをみるかな」
を掲げて開催します。

本芸術祭の趣旨、第3回テーマ「しまの いろをみるかな」にこめた想い、今回の見どころなどを各プログラム企画者たちが集い紹介します。
隠岐ごとばんさん芸術文化祭の楽しみ方、各プログラムの裏話も飛び出すかもしれません。
文化会議でのあなたのふとした一声から、次の芸術文化祭は始まります。

A mandarin farmer, Mr.Munehisa Shiraishi will guide you around Saki District.Feeling relaxed with the beauty of the sea, you will find intrest of the history and culture of Saki District. There is a tradition ,Retired Emperor Gotoba got reached the southen end of Ama about 800 years ago.Please enjoy maiking the Imagination for the story what happened then and coming the future!

I am staying in Ama Town using the Adult Island Study Abroad program. I currently live in the Saki area, and I planned this tour because I wanted to discover the charm of the area. My favorite thing about the Saki area is the ocean view that can be seen from the front of my house

後鳥羽院の和歌を合唱曲にした｢歌を紡いで｣という楽曲を、島の合唱団「ごとばんハーモニー」がお送りします！
混声合唱ならではの迫力と、和歌の組み込まれ方に注目してください！！

Interpret Emperor Gotoba's 100 poems from his exile in your own way and create a reply poem using photos and words.
It's not difficult at all! Together with Kitchen Minoru, a photo picture book author, you can express your favorite scenery and phrases in poster format.
The finished work will be displayed in various places on the island during the Gotobansan Art and Culture Festival.
Dates:
①September 23rd (Monday, holiday) 13:00-15:30
②September 24th (Tuesday) 10:00-12:30
Venue: Gotoba-in Museum (artworks will be exhibited at the Kinnyamonya Center, Gotoba-in Museum, the Mobile Museum, etc.)

On September 23rd, we will have an explanation of the 100 Toshima waka poems, a songwriting session, and a photo tour with Kitchen.
On September 24th, we will have an explanation of the waka poems and a photo session with Kitchen, a photographer, to take photos to accompany the return poems that others have written.
Please join if you are interested. You can also participate on both days.

Japan is home to a tradition of craftsmanship. Artisans spend years honing their craft, in a world of compelling tales and beauty. The Nihontō Japanese sword is one of those mastered crafts. At “Takumi Café: A Gathering of Japanese Sword Lovers”, you’ll join masters of modern Nihontō-forging, as you explore the many expressions, wonders, and joys of Japanese swords.
Workshop: (PART 1) Imagine and draw a picture of your own Nihontō sword. *Copyright of pictures will belong to the Gotoba-in Kenshō Executive Committee and be used in events and promotional materials. (PART 2) Japanese sword viewing and review
TALK SHOW: “How We Became Enchanted with Japanese Swords” *Tentative title. Featuring Japanese Sword Smith, Teruhira Kamiyama, winner of both the METI Award and the MEXT Prize, the most prestigious award at the 12th Shinsaku Nihontō and Sword Craftsmanship Exposition; T. Takaiwa from the Culture Department of the Yasugi City Board of Education (former Wako Museum curator); and manga artist Kimiko Kamata as master of ceremonies.

EXPLORE OKI: Japanese Sword Event in Tokyo
Saturday 7th September @ Sansakizaka Café in Yanaka, Tokyo
Part I: The Town of Ama and Japanese Swords
Participants will hear from Shigeki Murao, Shinto priest of Oki Jinja Shrine, and Paul Martin, Japanese sword specialist hailing from the United Kingdom.
Part II: Japanese Sword Viewing
In Part II, participants view authentic swords up close, further delving into the fascinating world of Japanese swords.

朝日かげではなく夕日かげになるとおもいますが、春の喜びをごとばんさんの和歌にあわせ吟じ踊ります。
観客の皆さんも参加できるようなイベントを考えてます。

今年はごとばん芸術文化祭にて開催します。
誰でも気軽に聴けるクラシック音楽、心に響く「音のいろ」を聴きに来てください。
隠岐民謡とのコラボにも乞うご期待！
【奏者プロフィール】
井谷 珠綺（ヴァイオリン）
大阪音楽大学演奏家特別コースを首席で卒業。独フォルクヴァング芸術大学への留学や霧島国際音楽祭での研鑽を経て、現在はソロや室内楽、オーケストラ客演と幅広く活動。
白藤 望（ピアノ）
大阪音楽大学ピアノ演奏家特別コース卒業。コンクールにて優秀伴奏者賞を多数受賞。現在はアンサンブルピアニストとして、全国各地での客演や共演、音楽大学付属音楽院での後進の指導など、多彩な演奏・教育活動を展開している。

トークイベント＆日本刀鑑賞会

刀剣研究家のポール・マーティン氏と作家の天津佳之氏によるトークイベントと隠岐神社奉納刀の鑑賞会。
日本刀の芸術性に迫るお話しが聞けるのはもちろん、隠岐神社の刀を手に取れる数少ない機会です。
日本刀ファンならおなじみ、ＮＨＫEテレやTBSの「マツコの部屋」にも出演したポール・マーティンさんが海士町にやってきます。
歴史小説家・天津さんとの刀トークどんな話になるのかは来てのお楽しみ！
<天津 佳之 氏 プロフィール>
静岡県伊東市出身。大正大学文学部日本語・日本文学科卒業。書店員、編集プロダクションのライターを経て、業界新聞記者。2020年、『尊氏と正成 ともに見た夢』（PHP文芸文庫）にて第12回日経小説大賞を受賞しデビュー。2024年12月に後鳥羽院と刀鍛冶との絆を描く『菊の剣（つるぎ）』（ＰＨＰ研究所）を刊行。

ごとばんさん、ラフカディオ・ハーン、島の子どもの交流を描いたミニ島民劇です。
海士町に来たラフカディオ・ハーンとセツが、後鳥羽院の旧跡をめぐり、子どもたちを介して島の守り人「ごとばんさん」と言葉を交わします。
いつでもどこでも誰でもできるミニ島民劇です。
ごとばんさん、ラフカディオ・ハーン、島の子ども、の時代を超えた対話が実現します。

東京に暮らす歌人の平岡直子さん、イラストレーターの柊有花さん、そして東京藝術大学准教授でキュレーターの宮本武典さんが、遠い島=海士について綴った短歌と絵を、まだ互いを知らない遠くの人と、“ごとばんさん”に届けるつもりで編んだタブロイド。
芸術祭の期間中、島のあちこちで配布します。

絵と歌の、いろ合わせ

全会期中開催
山陰を中心に全国で活躍する2人の作家の絵を展示します。
あわせて、島内の歌人の協力を得ながら一首詠んでいただき、展示します。
そこから、島内の人や島外の人がどのような色を感じたのかを表現する参加型のインスタレーションです。
参加型インスタレーションにすることで、ただ鑑賞いただくだけでなく、「なんだろう？」と考え・感じる時間を楽しんでいただきたいです。
作品の一部となり、作品がさらに広がっていく、その「いろ」をぜひご覧ください！

海士町出身のフローリスト／イラストレーター・大脇勇人を迎え、泊まれるジオパーク拠点 Entôに2泊3日滞在する短期アーティスト・イン・レジデンスを実施。
島で過ごす時間の中で生まれた表現や制作の痕跡を展示。
島出身のアーティストが島に滞在し、あらためて原風景と向き合うアートインレジデンス企画。
完成した作品だけでなく、島で過ごす時間や制作の過程もあわせて展示します。

言の葉を運ぶ牛突きと、光の回廊

島の人々が心に抱く「しまのいろ」を和歌として募り、その言葉を巨大な牛突きオブジェに纏わせます。
この牛が地区から地区へと巡り、人々の記憶や想いを運ぶことで、目に見える景色を超えた、心に響く“しまのいろ”に出会う体験を創出します。
島を練り歩く牛突きオブジェの圧倒的なビジュアル。
伝統的な文化と、現代的な光・言葉の演出が交差する、世代を超えて島の魅力を再発見できる没入型のアート体験です。

『遠島御百首』をはじめとしたごとばんさん文化と島あるあるを、「島民なら"和歌る”（わかる）！？」イラストと文章で楽しくご紹介します！
展示を巡りながら、「和歌る・和歌らない」しゃもじで判定していただきます。
体験型展示となるので、小さい子供から大人まで楽しめるプログラムとなっています。
日本の伝統的文化和歌の世界をちょっとだけのぞいてきませんか？

わたしだけの歌集を編むさんぽラリー

参加者に渡されるのは空白の歌集。海士町内の各スポットに点在する“和歌”を集めて、自分だけの歌集を作るウォークラリー。
遠島御百首をはじめとした後鳥羽院の和歌を特設の「うたの駅」に設置。好きなものを好きな順番で歌集に貼り付けてみましょう。
「うたの駅」に置かれた和歌だけでなく、歌碑に書かれた和歌や、ほかの企画で展示されている短歌や俳句、詩など…とにかく島で出会った「うた」ならなんでもオッケー。
自作の短歌を書き込んでも、自分らしい「いろ」が表れてくるでしょう。

島に暮らす人々が詠んだ「ふるさと」をテーマにした短歌の展示です。
牛乳パックで作ったランタンを、フェリーでの見送りに使われる紙テープでデコレーション。
島と本土を結ぶ玄関口である港に飾り付け、人々の想いを海のかなたへと届けます。

本芸術祭 実行委員であり、隠岐ユネスコ世界ジオパーク ジオガイド 寺田による、「しまのいろ」発見E-BIKEツアー。
隠岐ならではの自然、後鳥羽院の歌文化、本芸術祭の各企画の「いろ」巡りをします。
おすすめポイントで、野点体験(隠岐銘菓 白浪付)、記念の「うた」詠みも愉しみましょう！

第1部は、隠岐と水無瀬神宮の方々によるクロストーク「島の文化会議」を開催します。
第2部は、後鳥羽院を題材とした演劇を、島外初上演します。
